Job Description

Job Summary:

The main responsibility for this role is to source, identify talent and fill all position openings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with managers to determine requirements for the position and qualities of an ideal candidate.
  • Post positions that will attract top talent/create advertising.
  • Ensure that requisitions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Work with managers to create job descriptions and post job descriptions.
  • Conduct reference checks.
  • Conduct phone interviews and face to face interviews.
  • Schedule interviews for internal and external applicants.
  • Manage the requisition log and applicant tracking system
  • Create relationships with Universities and post positions on University web sites.
  • Serve as backup for general HR tasks when needed .
  • Partner with other HR staff for event planning activities.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years in a recruitment role focused on  various employee levels
  • Knowledge of various functions (manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing, information systems, etc.) within an organization and the challenges of filling positions within those departments.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization, exercising a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact and diplomacy to accomplish objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas and to summarize complex issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential material.

Education: Degree/Diploma in HR / Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
