Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the overall consolidation of the group’s financial results in accordance with reporting time lines and company policies
  • Partner with Division President on operational and financial matters
  • Follow-up with product groups and operating entities on data integrity in the financial reporting system
  • Lead monthly meetings with the CFO to review, understand and document major performance variances
  • Bring visibility to potential exceptions to accounting policies and procedures
  • Generate key financial reports and other key operating metrics on a monthly basis for distribution to executive management
  • Preparation of the review materials for executive management
  • Planning and communication to product groups and regional teams for reporting timelines (quarter end, year-end etc.)
  • Preparation and review of month-end documentation for audit review
  • Audit of operating entity balance sheets to understand major fluctuations
  • Lead annual review of divisional year-end files to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting practices
  • Assist all members of  Finance with support and queries
  • Assist in both External/internal audits and reviews
  • Preparation and review of yearly budgets and monthly projections
  • Responsible for all insurance matters

Job Requirements

Key Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of financial audit experience

  • Proven leadership and MGMT skills

  • CPA certification preferred

  • Strong grasp of GAAP accounting and general accounting concepts

  • Financial Accounting experience working with consolidation entries; multi-currency and multi-intercompany transaction experience

  • ERP experience and financial reporting systems - ideally MS AX2012 and Management Reporter of FRx

  • Excellent communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions

  • Demonstrated ability to streamline and automate complex processes

  • Advanced level PC based skills - Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook) required

  • Ability to build/understand complex financial methods

  • Ability to work effectively across all functions of the organization

  • Proficient in financial systems

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities to ensure superior outcomes and customer satisfaction

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
