Job Description

Nygård International, Canada’s leading fashion company that designs and markets women’s fashion apparel is seeking a qualified/motivated Photographer to join our Marketing Team. Job Summary:

As the in-house Photographer you will be shooting various types of imagery for use in stores, online and for internal product knowledge and training purposes. You will get the opportunity to work with internationally recognized models, photographers and stylists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking photos of models & accessories for use in store & online

  • Support photographer during on-location and full studio fashion shoots

  • Candid photography during special events and corporate functions

  • Photo editing

  • Taking new associate photos during the on boarding process

Job Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Adobe CS4

  • Knowledge of various camera equipment and lighting

  • Comfort level with photo archives, storage and recovery

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

  • Keen eye for detail

  • Ability to communicate cross-functionally throughout the organization

  • Able to manage multiple time sensitive projects in a fast paced environment

Education: Graduate from recognized school of photography or minimum 3 years experience in a photo studio or as a freelance photographer
