Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate IT activities for project initiation and provide high level solution approach
  • Drive project solutions by identifying impacted IT teams, facilitating JAD sessions and documenting required artifacts
  • Ensures projects are aligned with the business and ITS strategies and roadmaps
  • Generates and documents internal business user and functional specification requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, workflow analysis in moderate / highly complex environments
  • Communicates with project managers, application developers, subject matter experts, end users and senior management
  • Proposes system requirements and/or business process changes to fulfill business user requirements, ensuring system developers or business process solutions
  • Review technical design, development and implementation plan for assigned projects

Job Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience as a Senior Business Analyst
  • Experience in an operational support environment
  • Senior level experience in business analysis methods and practices with experience in requirements gatherings
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical terminology
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize, and communicate business information into technical specifications as well produce detailed documentation with the ability to simplify complex technical information into business language
  • Experience with application life-cycles in operations mode, change management, change prioritization, and impact analysi
  • Experience with information technology best practices for software development and ongoing release and change management

Education: An undergraduate degree or equivalent education and experience
